The most common triggers for autoimmune disorders are modern day diets, chronic stress, hormone imbalances, an imbalance of good bacteria in your gut, toxins (environmental, chemical, heavy metal), and infections such as Epstein-Barr virus. There is no magic pill to fix the root cause of what’s triggering your immune disorder. A pill will only mask the symptom(s), weaken your immune system and disrupt the antibodies in your body. I am a “Registered Dietitian Nutritionist” who understands how a healthy immune system works and will help you improve your immune function by reducing inflammation in your body. I will help you remove inflammatory foods from your diet and will teach you how to eat differently along with good quality herbal supplements which will help you heal and will keep your autoimmune condition(s) in remission. Speciality tests may be required to get to the root cause of your issue and treat it completely. These tests may include: food sensitivity testing, nutritional deficiency testing or cortisol level testing. 3 Steps to Heal Your Immune System
It takes approximately 90 days (12 weeks) to bring your autoimmune condition in remission (However this time period could vary from person to person).
STEP 1: Identify
Using health surveys, health questionnaires and intakes forms, we’ll uncover your health history from birth until today. This process together will allow us to identify trigger factors for your autoimmune conditions. They may include: inflammatory foods, exposure to toxins and current stress level.
STEP 2: Remove
The second step in the process is to remove the triggering factors from your diet and lifestyle to reduce inflammation. To identify what exactly is affecting your immune system, additional testing may be required including: nutritional deficiency test, cortisol level test and inflammatory & food sensitivity test.
STEP 3: Balance & Maintenance
Everything in life is a balance, especially when we’re talking about your immune system. Depending on the root cause of your autoimmune condition, we’ll discuss gut balance protocol, liver support protocol and adrenal recovery protocol, stress management techniques, adding anti-inflammatory foods and AIP diets. Following these protocols may be required for you to reverse your symptoms and get your life back.

I help these clients by getting them to understand the root cause of the problem. We review inflammatory foods, nutrients, gut health, toxicity in their body and food intolerances.
For clients affected by anxiety, depression, obesity, brain fog, acne & skin problems, indigestion, insomnia, diabetes or autoimmune conditions, I may recommend a detox program. This needs to be done under expert supervision and advice. Together, we will reduce the toxicity in your body by making changes in your diet and add herbal supplements, antiinflammatory agents and herbal teas to support your liver.
In Ayurvedic medicine, we treat the patient as a whole instead of just treating the symptom. In my office, we focus on balancing your mind, body & environment.
