Often times, our experiences as children set us up for eating habits we carry through to adulthood. That stands true for positive & negative scenarios. Whether your weakness is fast, convenient food because of a busy schedule OR just never being taught how to read nutritional labels, I am here to help.
Most clients who come to my office in Surprise, Arizona suffer from a variety of symptoms related to weight loss. The most common include: Difficulty losing weight, slow steady weight gain, loss of muscle mass, excessive body fat, low energy, joint pain, anxiety, depression, lack of self confidence and self esteem, cravings to eat more carbohydrates/sweets and disturbed sleep.
Right Nutrition Works helps clients lose weight using a healthy, balanced program designed around nutritional education, mineral supplements & stress management techniques. We each have our own genetic make-up and health history that dictate which foods will maintain the best balance FOR YOU. So the supplement & meal plan that works for one client may not benefit you as much. My goal is not only help you lose weight, but keep it off by embracing a new lifestyle. I know you want a quick fix. Maybe something you could take that would melt away the pounds. But, the honest truth is that you will need to put some work in to get the results you want. And I don’t mean just physical movement. I’m referring to education. I will teach you how to read food labels in way that you’ll be able to identify toxic ingredients for your body. You will learn how to eat mindfully NOT mindlessly.
You will learn how to take charge of your meal planning and STILL ENJOY THE FOODS YOU LOVE! You’ll be able to easily decide on how much to eat and what type of modifications to make on a dish when dining out. For the first time in long time….your weight will be under YOUR CONTROL. We’ll introduce some physical activity to accelerate your weight loss by gaining more muscle and losing fat.
I am a “Registered Dietician Nutritionist” who understands the intricacies of nutrition and quality mineral supplements. While highly education myself, I understand how easy it is to be confused and misguided by food labels and pre-packaged foods. My weight loss program approach is sympathetic. If you work with me you’ll be more active, feel younger, have a better mood and no more inflammation.
It may take 3-6 months to reach your healthy weight. Of course, results will vary based on: each individuals goal weight, level of commitment you have for the program and any other health challenges you currently are battling, which may have to be addressed first to achieve healthy weight.
We learned a lot from our visits and talking to Prajakta about our diets, foods & nutrition. Especially about fiber, artificial sugars, carbs, and sources of protein. Changing habits can be difficult, especially for me. My husband’s sugar level is going down and he’s discovered he can’t eat as much as he used to.

4 Steps to Lose Weight
It takes approximately 3-6 months to reach a healthy weight. (However this time period could vary from person to person)
STEP 1: Identify
Together we’re going to address the root cause of your weight problem. This may include correcting your gut health, identifying food intolerances and eliminating inflammatory foods from your diet. We’re going to help you reduce the toxicity in your body by correcting nutrient deficiencies if any and understand the challenges that you’re facing about losing weight.
STEP 2: Remove & Move
The second step in the process is to remove the triggering factors from your diet and lifestyle to reduce inflammation. We’ll guide you to practice a healthy lifestyle such as: scheduled routines, enough sleep, controlling your stress levels by practicing stress management techniques, planning ahead, incorporating regular physical activity & time management.
STEP 3: EDUCATE
I’ll teach you about balanced healthy eating. How to make the right food choices as well as the right combinations of foods. We’ll discuss meal planning/recipes and healthy snacking ideas. You’ll learn about the right serving sizes and come away knowing how to read nutritional labels on any product. We’ll discuss what clean food brands exist and explain why you can trust them.
STEP 4: Lose
By this step, most of my patients are on their way to losing weight in a healthy, controlled manner. If you’re still struggling, we’ll do additional testing to get the root cause of YOUR weight puzzle. These may include: food sensitivities, micronutrient testing or stool analysis. At that time, I may recommend natural supplements to correct deficiencies, reduce inflammation and toxicity in your body.

Gut Healing Program
If you’re suffering from IBS, IBD, constipation, constant diarrhea, bloating, ulcerative colitis or SIBO, you have an imbalance in your gut. These symptoms occur for a variety of reasons. Whether your condition is caused by food sensitivities, leaky gut or parasite infections, we will address the root cause of the issue and heal your gut with the “4-R’s”.
Weight Loss Program
Many people come into my office wanting to lose weight. Their looking for a way to balance their busy life with making the right choices. They want to gain muscle mass, increase energy, reverse depression, remove anxiety & joint pain and sleep soundly at night. I help these clients by getting them to understand the root cause of the problem. We review inflammatory foods, nutrients, gut health, toxicity in their body and food intolerances.
For clients affected by anxiety, depression, obesity, brain fog, acne & skin problems, indigestion, insomnia, diabetes or autoimmune conditions, I may recommend a detox program. This needs to be done under expert supervision and advice. Together, we will reduce the toxicity in your body by making changes in your diet and add herbal supplements, antiinflammatory agents and herbal teas to support your liver.
In Ayurvedic medicine, we treat the patient as a whole instead of just treating the symptom. In my office, we focus on balancing your mind, body & environment.
